Abstract

1445160 Suction cleaner nozzles VORWERK & CO ELEKTROWERKE KG 26 Oct 1973 [26 Oct 1972] 50063/73 Heading A4F A suction cleaner nozzle has a suction inlet opening 32 surrounded by bristles 26, a rotary brush 1 provided with vanes 8 whereby it is rotated by the suction air-flow, and resilient means, e.g. a spring 19, for urging the brush 1 in a direction outwardly through the opening 32. The bristles 7 of the brush 1 are arranged in three radial rows and increase in length from the periphery to the axis of the brush. The surrounding bristles 26 are arranged on an annular housing wall having a tapered lateral extension 27 which may be inserted into folds and corners of upholstery.
