Abstract

1443052 Inspection chamber HEPWORTH IRON CO Ltd 12 Dec 1973 [4 Jan 1973] 595/73 Heading E1C An inspection chamber includes a secondary channel 6 or 7 extending at least a part of the way around the periphery of the chamber's floor for receiving sewage from inlets (e.g. 9) formed in the chamber's wall and for discharging the sewage into a main channel on the chamber's floor having an inlet and outlet 4B, 5. The inner wall of the secondary channel may be upwardly continued to form a flange, Fig. 2 (not shown), for deflecting sewage entering through inlet 9 along the channel 6 or 7.
