Windings; commutators.-A dynamo-electric machine of the commutator type, having twice as many commutator segments as there are rotor slots, is constructed with the rotor slots obliquely disposed, and with the ends of the rotor coils connected to every other commutator segment 2, 4 - - 16, the remaining segments 1, 3 - - 15 being connected to intermediate points in successive rotor coils. The invention is particularly applicable to motors for driving machine tools.
