Abstract

1441479 Vacuum switches MEIDENSHA KK 5 Feb 1974 [16 Feb 1973 (2)] 05193/74 Heading H1N A vacuum interrupter bulb of a circuitbreaker has an outer concentric screen 86 extending over the region of contact separation and two inner screens 90, 92 which have respective axially inner portions 90a, 92a axially spaced apart_from each other and encircling axial end portions of the gap between the contacts in their open position. The screens 90, 92 are supported through respective insulating elements 94, 100 by end plates 10, 12 of the bulb. Plates 106, 108 shield the seals at the edges of plates 10, 12.
