Abstract

1441343 Moulded cap seal M FUJIO 12 July 1974 31041/74 Heading B8T [Also in Division B5] A cap seal is produced from a tube made of heat shrinkable plastics material, the tube being heat shrunk on to a former 3 to produce a frusto-conical skirt 1, the closed end 2 being formed by a heated plate 6 which fuses the end of the tube into a portion of thickness greater than that of skirt 1. The plate 6 may be engraved to produce an embossed pattern on the closed end 2.
