1338685 Open end spinning PLATT INTERNATIONAL Ltd 13 Oct 1972 [19 Oct 1971] 48542/71 Heading DID An open end spinning device comprises a rotor having two portions 6, 7 converging to a fibre-collecting region of maximum internal diameter, and a yarn delivery tube 13 extending across the plane of maximum diameter and having a flange 17 which extends outwardly and backwardly toward the fibre collecting region 8. The spacing between the flange 17 and the rotor wall 7 and the cover 9 may be constant. The entry to the delivery tube 13 may be grooved.
