The sleeve may have external circumferential ribs, and has a thin wall 10 across its lower end. As the bolt 5 is driven into the sleeve, it pierces the wall 10 and the disc 7. The sleeve may be of a polyamide, polyacetal, polypropylene, or polycarbonate. The resin, which is introduced in a rupturable cartridge 8 or by direct injection, is preferably an unsaturated polyester resin with a redox catalyst system hardener, or an epoxy resin with an acid-free catalyst.
