Abstract
1338648 Electromagnetic relays J M WALTERS 30 March 1972 [2 April 1971] 8579/71 Heading H1N An attraced armature relay has a plurality of independent coil modules 4 surrounding a common core. Each coil module 4 has an end plate 5 with projecting terminals 6 connected through holes 27 with printed circuit connectors 29 on a board 26 having connectors 28. The coil modules may be interconnected if required. The relay has a pivoted armature 15 which acts on a cord 16 to move contact springs 17 into and out of engagement with fixed contact springs 18. The ends of the fixed contacts 18 may be located by an insulating plate 22 held by a spring clip 23 which can be removed to allow replacement of the plate 22 by a plate 30 (Fig. 9) having parts cut away to allow for sequential operation of the contact sets.
