1338134 Pharmaceutical compositions CIBAGEIGY AG 19 April 1971 [26 Jan 1970] 23822/71 Heading A5B Pharamceutical compositions for the treatment of Parkinson's disease comprise L-dopa (3-(3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)-L-alanine) and gallic acid, or a C 1-9 alkyl gallate, or a salt (such as an alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or organic amine salt) of gallic acid and a pharmaceutically acceptable diluent or carrier therefor. The compositions may be administered orally or parenterally in the form of tablets, capsules, powders, suspensions, solutions, syrups, sustained release preparations and sterile solutions and suspensions.
