Abstract

1337689 Vehicle platform elevator RATIONORM GERATA VERTRIEB GmbH 24 May 1972 [22 Feb 1972] 24488/72 Heading B8E A platform elevator unit is attachable to the rear and/or sides of vehicle by a trolley 3 running on guide rails 1, 2. A lateral extension 17 of the trolley mounts a guide 4 on a vertical pivot bearing 18 so that it can be fixed in different angular positions relative to the trolley by a catch 16 engaging notches in a disc 15. A load platform 6 attached at its side to a member 5 which is displaceable on the guide 4 by a ram 7 secured to the guide 4 and acting on the member 5 through its rod 8 operating through a double pulley 9 and chains 10, 11. A reservoir 23 fed by an electric pump 24 operates the ram 7 through a valve 27. The ram actuating mechanism is rotatable with the guide 4 about the vertical pivot 18. A rail 12 pivoted upwards by spring acts as a stop for goods on the platform 6.
