Abstract
133,526. Beck, W. E. Nov. 25, 1918. Watch stands and holders.- A support 1 for watches has a. pair of spring arms 4 to grip the pendant of the watch and a strut member 5 disposed between the arms 4 and adapted to bear against the pendant. The support may be combined with a U-clip to grip the shelf &c., the strut in this case being disposed below the level of the arm 4 instead of above, as in the form shown in Fig. 2. A ticket clip may also be combined with the support. In Provisional Specification 19359/18, a form is described without the strut 5, but with the ends of the arms 4 bent over towards the front of the watch to prevent excessive movement between the watch and the stand. In Provisional Specification 19956/18, a form for wrist watches is described in which the arms 4 grip the strap, and the support is made with three legs, the strap passing through a cut-out portion of the third leg.
