Abstract
1332874 Sewing machine MEFINA SA 13 Dec 1971 [29 Dec 1970] 57711/71 Heading D1G A sewing machine has a base 2, on which are hinged lowerable flaps 5-7, and a case 1 intended to cover it, the flaps being capable of occupying a use position (as shown) and a non use position (Fig. 1 not shown) where they are raised against the outer faces of the lateral walls of the case where they are held by means acting between the case and the flaps. The holding means comprise magnetic capsules. The base 2 may be detachable from the machine to permit the use of a free arm (15, Fig. 4 not shown).
