1331559 Polymer/dye compositions MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 16 Aug 1971 [14 Aug 1970] 38388/71 Heading C3P [Also in Division C4] Quinophthalone dyes of formula (in which X is H or halogen; Y<SP>1-3</SP> are each H, halogen or 1-2C alkyl or alkoxy; not more than two of X and Y<SP>1-3</SP> are H; when two of X and Y<SP>1-3</SP> are H, the others are different from each other). The dye optionally mixed with other quinophthalone dyes may be used for dyeing fibres or shaped articles (e.g. polystyrene or polymethylmethacrylate pellets).
