Abstract

1330180 Load handling pallets KABOR Ltd 8 Nov 1971 [10 Nov 1970] 53468/70 Heading B8H The injection or compression moulded platform 1 of a pallet is formed on its underside with frusto-conical sockets 4 each having an annular groove for the reception of a support member 7. Each support member is in the form of a truncated cone, or alternatively a cylinder, Fig. 6 (not shown), supported at its base on a stringer 8 and formed with an annular bead 9 or with an annular groove provided with a separate 0-ring. The support members are hollow and provided with internal ribs to prevent the loose stringers from wedging when nested together. Each stringer is moulded integrally with two or more supports. Alternatively, the supports may be of wood secured to stringers. The platform may be formed with stiffening ribs on its underside, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown).
