Abstract
1328790 Moulding dough TWEEDY OF BURNLEY Ltd 11 Jan 1971 [18 Nov 1969] 56313/69 Heading B5A In an apparatus for moulding dough, an unshaped piece of dough is fed on to a first conveyer 10, and under a pressure board 12 to coil up the dough; the roll so formed is moved, via an intermediate conveyer 14, to a set of sheeting rollers 18, the roll being fed lengthwise into the rollers, from where it is fed under a mail chain coiling device 22 co-operating with a second conveyer 20. The resulting roll of dough is, for example, fed into pans 26, and has an even texture as a result of being "cross-grained" by feeding the first roll lengthwise to the sheeting rollers. A delay of up to five minutes between the formation of the first roll of dough and the sheeting may be introduced by suitable adjustment of the speed and length of the intermediate conveyer 14.
