Abstract
1328762 Rotary cultivator VAN RUMPT NV 15 Sept 1971 [15 Sept 1970] 42985/71 Heading A1B In a tractor drawn rotary cultivator, soil working implements are detachably and adjustably mounted on split collars bolted together around a transverse horizontal shaft, one of the split collars having a projection 14 engaging a recess 15 in an adjacent collar. In one embodiment, Fig. 3, four tines 3 are bolted to flanges 5 on a collar 12, 13 which has a projection 14 and a circumferentially offset recess 15 on part 13 so that adjacent collars can be interengaged with the tines arranged helically along the shaft. A series of holes 18 or slots 19 enable the amount by which the tines project to be altered. Alternatively the two parts 12, 13 may be fastened together at one end by a hook in one engaging a hole in the other part or by a pivot pin passing through both parts. In another embodiment, Fig. 2, each half 4 of a collar has a single flange 5 in which there are alternative fixing holes 7 and 9 for mounting the tines at different angles.
