1328480 Benzothiazole sulphenamides SUMITOMO CHEMICAL CO Ltd 14 Sept 1970 [16 Sept 1969] 52745/72 Divided out of 1325064 Heading C2C [Also in Division C3] Novel benzothiazole sulphenamide derivatives having the general formula wherein R 5 is hydrogen, alkyl or cyclohexyl and R 6 is a (C 12 to C 18 ) alkyl radical are prepared by chlorinating a solution of benzothiazole sulphenamide in a solvent and adding the appropriate amine to the resulting solution. The novel compounds may be used as vulcanization accelerators.
