Abstract

1326750 Mirror frames ETABS ALLIBERT 23 Dec 1970 [30 Dec 1969] 61062/70 Headings A4V and A4X A mirror frame comprises a frame or panel 2 having top and bottom flanges 4a, b with turnedover lips 5 and 6 respectively to form recesses 7, 8 receiving opposed edges of the mirror 3, and a resilient, longitudinally compressible member 12 positionable through an aperture 10 in flange 4a, so that a part of it is located in the aperture with wings 12a, b abutting the undersurface of flange 4a at the sides of the aperture, to lock the mirror against vertical movement. Side flanges 4 are provided and ribs 9 may be provided in the lower recess 8. The panel 2 and member 12 may be made of plastics material. The height of the mirror is less than the distance between the undersurface of flange 4a and the top of lip 6. The panel 2 may be a door of a cupboard such as a bathroom cabinet.
