Abstract
1325469 Polyphenylene ether blends with rubber-modified acrylic resins GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 28 Oct 1970 [3 Nov 1969] 51309/70 Headings C3P and C3R A polymer composition comprises a polyphenylene ether and a rubber modified acrylic resin containing butadiene, the acrylic resin being present in an amount of from 1 to 50% by weight of the total resinous components of the composition. In examples polyphenylene ethers are blended with acrylic resin containing butadiene, some of the compositions also containing styrene/butadiene copolymer, fire retardants and stabilizers. Uses: moulded articles.
