Abstract

1325383 Laminates FABRICAS LUCIA ATONIO BETERE SA 19 April 1971 [5 Aug 1970] 22676/71 Heading B5N [Also in Division D1] A fleece of cotton is needled to a web of porous polyurethane by a needling machine (see Division D1) to form a continuous multi-ply web, the needles producing at the edges of the web and at predetermined transverse strips thereof a higher puncture density than that occurring in the other regions of the web. The strip is subsequently cut at the transverse strips to produce sheets with a high puncture density, and therefore a better union of the plies, at the edges thereof.
