1324111 Rolling mills ZDARSKE STROJIRNY A SLEVARNY NARODNI PODNIK 5 Oct 1970 [16 March 1970] 47184/70 Heading B3M A rolling mill comprises a pair of rolls 4 mounted by main bearings 5 in chocks 6, the clearance in the bearings being adjustable by rams 1 which extend between the ends of the rolls and move the rolls relative to the main bearings 5. The gap between the rolls is adjustable by screws 7 between adjacent chocks 6 of the rolls. The rams act between further bearings 3 mounted on the ends of the rolls. The rolls may be arranged vertically or horizontally.
