Abstract

1323915 Sliver condenser MASCHINENFABRIK RIETER AG 11 Dec 1970 [12 Dec 1969 19 Nov 1970] 58928/70 Heading DIN A web condensor includes a web precondensing means comprising a laterally movable roller 5 between the web take off and the sliver condenser for forming a precondensed web by laterally taking up the web. There may be precondensing rollers on each side of the web, and these rollers may be conical or form part of a belt precondensing arrangement. The web may be supported on a flat surface whilst it is being condensed.
