Abstract

1323792 Laminates SHIPLEY CO Inc 19 April 1971 [3 March 1970] 24396/71 Heading B5N [Also in Division G2[ A laminate is produced by feeding a series of pre-cut substrates 5 from a slide 8 on to endless belt 9. The substrate may be metal or a ceramic, polymeric or semiconductor material or preferably a copper clad resin. The substrate is laminated to a continuous roll of photoresist material comprising a support 1, an intermediate layer 2 and a photoresist layer 3 by heated pres - sure rollers 10 and 11. The support 1 is then stripped from the intermediate layer and the laminate cut to the size of the pre-cut substrate and used as a photoresist (see Division G2).
