1322659 Landing plate GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO 22 Sept 1971 [4 Nov 1970] 44146/71 Heading B8A A landing plate structure for an inclined passenger conveyer comprises a load supporting surface having an upper edge portion 26 inclined at the same angle as the conveyer 2, a horizontal lower portion 28 and an intermediate curved portion 33. A comb 17 mounted on the landing plate intermeshes with ribs and grooves on the conveyer belt to assist smooth transition from the conveyer to a stationary platform, not shown.
