Abstract

1321526 Explosive compositions DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 19 Nov 1971 [20 Nov 1970] 53951/71 Heading C1D [Also in Division F3] An explosive charge constituting the core of a safety fuse cord comprises Nitropenta and a phlegmatizing agent selected from cryolite, alkali metal, alkaline earth metal and ammonium halides, sulphates, bicarbonates, carbonates and phosphates and alkaline earth metal oxides. At least 60% of the Nitropenta passes through a mesh screen of 0À074 mm. mesh. A preferred composition comprises Nitropenta and 5-15%, particularly 10%, of cryolite.
