Abstract

1321281 Toy construction sets W B PINK 22 June 1971 [22 June 1970] 30187/70 Heading A6S A constructional toy set comprises struts 3 formed from inherently resilient material rolled to a coiled shape which following lateral contraction are inserted into and allowed to expand within holes 2, &c of bracing members 1. The bracing members 1 may be of plastics, metal or cardboard, and may be formed with a peripheral strengthening rib, Fig. 2 (not shown): they may be plates of triangular, rectangular, circular, &c shape, Figs. 7, 8 (not shown), or of curved or angular shape, Fig. 9 (not shown), or made in two parts hinged together. The bracing members 1 may have transverse slits 25 so that they can be interengaged crosswise, Fig. 6 (not shown). The holes 2 are shown as of the same size, but additional holes of smaller size may also be provided.
