Abstract

1320963 Variable displacement pump control SUNDSTRAND CORP 28 Oct 1970 [24 Nov 1969] 51283/70 Heading G3P A servopiston 32 controlling the displacement of pump 10 is controlled by a pressure compensating spool 36 responsive at 40 to the pump delivery pressure and serving to connect the servochamber to pump delivery or pump intake 42. The spool is adjustably biased by spring 48 and a stack of bimetallic Belleville washers 50 which compensate the effect of the temperature variations on spring 48.
