Abstract

1319830 Valves T A KILGARIFF 17 July 1970 [17 July 1969] 34905/70 Heading F2V A valve adapted to be elbow operated includes a lever 14 having engagement surfaces 17, 18 with the valve body and rotatable to cam actuate a valve element 6 to sealingly engage a seat 7. The parts 21 and 22 with which surfaces 17 and 18 engage are made from a material of high coefficient of friction to retain the lever 14 in any desired position.
