Abstract

1319760 Selective printing WALTHER BUROMASCHINEN GmbH 15 Feb 1972 [19 Feb 1971] 7028/72 Heading B6F An electromagnetically operated needle matrix printer has a core-shift arrangement which moves the needles downwards, so that the extensions below the writing line of lower case characters may be formed (Fig. 3). The print head 2 is pivoted at 12 to carriage 7. A U- shaped guide 14 attached to the print head 2 allows for limited pivotal movement which is under the control of an electromagnet 20 and compression spring 17.
