1319747 Tobacco-smoke filters MONSANTO RESEARCH CORP 6 April 1971 8858/71 Heading A2C [Also in Division C3] Cigarette filters may be produced from an open-pore structure comprising coherent spherical particles of polyurethane resin of less than 10 microns diameter with interconnected interstices, the structure have a porosity of at least 50% measured by ASTM Standard Method D-2856-70 and a density of 0.1 to 0.5 grams/cubic centimeter (see Division C3).
