1319674 Sheet forming FLACHGLAS AG DELOG-DETAG 22 Oct 1970 [27 Oct 1969] 50282/70 Heading B5A A method of making a sheet having a plurality of internal passages 4 comprises forming a laminate consisting of two outer webs 1, 2 and at least one intermediate web 3 e.g. of fibre reinforced resin sheets, locating a plurality of elongate expandable formers 7, e.g. of P.V.C., in parallel relationship between the webs, expanding the formers to urge the outer webs against respective moulding surfaces 5, and 6, and to deform the intermediate web, and restraining the outer webs by clamps 9. The formers can be expanded by compressed air, oil, or water. The outer webs and formers can be pretensioned prior to expansion. The sheet can be cured in the mould.
