Abstract
1319548 Photographic silver halide emulsions FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 28 Aug 1970 [28 Aug 1969] 41610/70 Heading G2C Photographic silver halide emulsions are sensitized with at least one compound of the formula:- where R 1 to R 4 each are hydrogen, alkyl or aralkyl or R 1 and R 2 and/or R 3 and R 4 together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached form cycloalkane rings. In specified compounds, R 1 to R 4 are each hydrogen or are each benzyl, or R 1 and R 2 and R 3 and R 4 together with their respective carbon atoms form cyclohexane and cycloheptane rings. Other sensitizers may be present in the emulsion, e.g. sodium thiosulphate and sodium aurothiosulphate.
