Abstract

131,919. Stocks, W. Aug. 29, 1918, [Convention date]. Tread bands.-The inner portion 1 of a wheel carries a rim 4 by means of S or M-shaped springs 2. A band 7 is fitted to the rim 4, with projections engaging corresponding recesses. The band 7 carries a band 8 of vulcanite to which a solid rubber tyre 9 is vulcanized. The tyre carries a tread 11 with alternate straight and curved edges extending a short distance over the edges of the tyre.
