Abstract
1318764 Steel compositions FRIED KRUPP HUTTENWERKE AG 12 Oct 1970 [10 Oct 1969] 48332/70 Heading C7A [Also in Divisions B3 and F2] Steels have the following percentage by weight composition: and the remainder iron, are used to weld crankshaft parts together. After cooling from welding temperature, the joints are heated to 850‹C. oil-quenched, to 650‹C. and air-quenched, stress-relieved at 550‹C., and deformed plastically while cold using fine steel balls in a compacting treatment.
