Abstract

1318481 Photo-copying apparatus KONISHIROKU PHOTO INDUSTRY CO Ltd 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 24566/71 Heading G2A In a scanning type photo-copier having relative movement between an original holder 1 and a lamp carriage 4, there is provided means for delaying the start of the scan for a predetermined time, during which time the lamps 2 are connected in series with a resistor (R) Fig.2 (not shown), thereby cutting the current supplied to the lamps and preventing local overheating of the holder 1. The start of the scanning movement after the predetermined time has elapsed, is synchronized with the lamps reaching their operative luminous state, such movement tipping an aim 5 of a microswitch S 2 to short out the resistor (R).
