1318340 Sulphonylureas F HOFFMANNLA ROCH & CO AG 26 Nov 1971 [27 Nov 1970] 55024/71 Heading C2C Novel compounds (I) where R is H, halogen, NH 2 , Me or MeS are obtained by treating compounds (II) with inorganic base; (II) are themselves obtained from the corresponding hydroxy compounds. Pharmaceutical preparations showing hypoglycemic action contain (I) as active ingredient: administration may be enterally or parenterally.
