Abstract

1318255 Constructional members WARD BROS (SHERBURN) Ltd 22 Aug 1970 40520/ 70 Heading E1W A constructional member 10 or a restraint tie holds in spaced orientation two members 15 by engagement of a longitudinal extention 13 at each of its ends in an aperture 16 in the members 15. The member 10 has at each end longitudinally presented shoulder 14 together with a latch 17 pivoted to the extention 13 at the point 18 and movable under the influence of gravity to present a further shoulder 21, forming one side of a slot 20 in the latch 17, in opposition to the shoulder 14. The engagement of members 15 between the opposed shoulders 14, 21 holds the members 15 in the required orientation. The member 10 may be formed by a U-section member in the channel of which the latches 17 lie.
