Abstract

1317559 Blade for rotary cultivator ROTARY HOES Ltd 24 June 1970 [1 July 1969] 33178/69 Heading AIB A blade for a rotary cultivator has a shank 10 bifurcated so as to divide into two limbs 14 and 15 having cutting edges 20, 21. The shank 10 extends outwardly from a rotary shaft 11 and the limbs 14 and 15 extend in a direction generally parallel to the shaft's axis. The shank has a hole 12 enabling the blade to be bolted to a flange (not shown) secured to the shaft 11. The radial inner end of the blade has a circular profile 13 to match that of the shaft 11, and this end of the blade contacts the shaft when the blade is bolted in position.
