1317544 Suspending curtains H BIER 5 May 1971 [15 May 1970] 13229/71 Heading A4B [ Also in Division D1] Curtain suspension means for producing folds in curtains comprises a curtain tape, Fig. 5, secured to or woven into the curtain, the tape including at least an upper row 32 and a lower row 38 of loops 33-37, 39-43 arranged in groups along the length of the tape, and a plurality of safety-pin type suspension loops 13, each hook 13 being engaged with the loops of both rows 32, 38 of a group such that the upper row loops are engaged on a bridge 59 of the hook 13 and the lower row loops are engaged in the elbow 31 of the hook 13. The loops are successively engaged over the free shank 68 of the hook 13, the upper loops passing onward through a gap, as at 63, on to the bridge 59. Third and fourth rows 74, 78 of loops may be provided. Various arrangements of loop disposition are described. The hook 13 includes a slider portion 46 for engagement within a rail. The portion 46 may be fitted with a roller (72), Fig.9 (not shown).
