Abstract
1317353 Derivatives of 2-aminopyridine TH GOLDSCHMIDT AG 10 Nov 1971 [10 Nov 1970] 52293/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein X is H or Br in the 5- or 6-position, n is 2 or 3, and m is 0, 1 or 2, and a process for preparing them by reacting with up to 4 mols C 8 H 17 [NH(CH 2 ) n ] m NH 2 at 100-180‹ C. in the presence of an acid acceptor, a corresponding bromo-, chloro-, bromochloro- or dibromopyridine. Biocidal compositions comprise a compound of the above formula and a solid or liquid diluent or carrier.
