V I FARAH 7 April 1971 8919/71 Headings A4F and A4K [Also in Division B8] A rotary cleaning device for crockery and cutlery comprises a drive shaft 4 and at least two coaxially arranged cleaning elements 1, 2, e.g. sponges or brushes, the inner element 1 being fixed to the drive shaft and the outer element 2 being carried by a framework 6 having a central sleeve 7 axially slidable on the shaft and rotatable with the shaft. The cleaning device may be coupled to an electric motor housed in a casing which may also house valve controlled liquid mixing and dispensing means connected to a water supply pipe and having outlet nozzles for supplying detergents to the cleaning elements.
