Abstract

1316170 Heated hair curlers DANFOSS A/S 30 Dec 1970 [20 Jan 1970] 61771/70 Heading H5H An electric hair curler has a built in P.T.C. resistor 6 connectable to a voltage source 12 and is designed so that in use the resistance of the P.T.C. resistor 6 at the desired temperature of the curler is so large that the current then flowing through it causes no further temperature rise. The P.T.C. resistor may be embedded in a heat storage mass 5 of wax or paraffin in an aluminium or plastics sleeve 2. Connectors 7 secured to the P.T.C. resistor 6 have plugs 8 entering sockets 9 in a terminal box 10.
