Abstract

1315842 Trolleys and trucks BRITISH RAILWAYS BOARD 28 April 1971 [28 April 1970] 20436/70 Heading B7B [Also in Division B8] A carrier unit for carcasses comprises a wheeled pallet base 1, provided with brakes 12 operated by a lever 13, and supporting on columns 4 a top member 6 which is provided with rails 8 for meat hooks 9 and with channels or trays 7 for refrigerant material. The unit is of such dimensions that an i.s.o. container may be completely filled by a predetermined number of the units. Each unit may be disassembled for return transit.
