1313781 Central nervous system stimulants CHEMISCHE FABRIK PROMONTA GmbH 17 July 1970 [17 July 1969] 34688/70 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] Pharmaceutical compositions having central nervous system stimulant properties comprise a compound I in which R is H, 1-6C alkyl or an aralkyl, hydroxyalkyl, oxoalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, aryloxyalkyl or aryloxoalkyl group having 1-3C in the alkyl chain and R<SP>1</SP> is H or 1-4C alkyl or a salt thereof together with a suitable carrier. In the case of the known compounds I, viz where R is methyl or sec-butyl and R<SP>1</SP> is H, the carrier is not water or a common organic solvent.
