Abstract

1313223 Vices B H DEWICK and J W RHODES 14 May 1971 [20 June 1970] 30022/70 Heading B3B An auxiliary vice jaw comprises a plastics moulding provided with a recess in which a strip 20 of magnetic material is located so that the whole of one face of the strip is exposed and coplanar with the vice engaging surface of the jaw. The strip 20 is formed of rubber or plastics impregnated with magnetized particles. The gripping face of the jaw is provided with a pattern of holding grooves 18.
