1312235 Organic phosphonic acid salts GLAXO LABORATORIES Ltd 10 March 1970 [11 March 1969 22 Sept 1969] 38740/72 and 38741/72 Divided out of 1312232 Heading C2P The invention comprises salts formed from a monoamine which is an unsaturated heterocyclic tertiary nitrogen base, aniline, a substituted aniline or benzylamine and which has a pKb as measured in water at 25‹ C. of not less than 4, and an acid of Formula I where R is aliphatic, araliphatic or aryl. The salts may be prepared by reacting the acid of Formula I with the monoamine.
