Chimney and ventilating-shaft tops.-A conical cowl e is freely supported on the apex of a cone d and is fitted with an internal ring f which can normally pass the cone d,'but which, when the cowl swings aside under wind pressure, moves out of register with cone d and thus prevents the cowl from being blown off.
