Abstract

1310433 Hydraulic press frames VON ROLL AG 24 March 1970 14330/70 Heading B5F A press frame comprises upper and lower yokes 1, 2, intermediate members 6 disposed between the yokes, and elongated tensioning members 9 extending between the yokes, the tensioning members being pre-tensioned one after another when the press is being assembled. As shown, the press comprises a fixed punch 4 and a movable punch 3 operated by an hydraulic cylinder 5, the members 9 comprising cables housed in hollow columns 6. The cable ends are held in anchoring sleeves received in frustoconical bores 15 in anchoring plates 13, 14. The columns 6 are provided with guide means (20), Fig. 4 (not shown), for the punch (21).
