Abstract

1310217 Cable ducts FOKKER-VFW NV 13 Aug 1971 [19 Aug 1970] 38219/71 Heading H2C In order to separate cables 1, 2, 3, in a cable duct 4 having connection units 6 arranged centrally of the duct, barriers are arranged to direct cables, which are not required for connection to a unit, around the side of the unit. The barriers may be continuous flexible strips 8<SP>1</SP>, 8<SP>11</SP> Fig. 1 secured to grooves 5 in the base of the duct by fasteners 9, walled partitions 14 (Fig. 6), not shown, or continuous walls 18 (Fig. 9) (Fig. 10), not shown, having "knockout" portions 17 to pass cables through. A toothed member may be used to secure the barriers of Fig. 1, as shown in Fig. 5, the teeth being removed except for those (13) which locate the barriers 8<SP>1</SP> 8<SP>11</SP>. The groove 5<SP>1</SP> may be used to secure the connection unit 6.
