Abstract

1310110 Junction blocks for fluid control valves LOUIS NEWMARK Ltd 19 June 1970 [19 June 1969] 31166/69 Heading F2G A junction block for interconnecting fluid control valves includes first and second parallel channels connecting corresponding ones of pairs of ports 2 and 3 formed on opposed end faces, Fig. 3, of the block, an array of four ports 10-13 formed on the upper face, Fig. 1, of the block, third and fourth channels connecting ports 10 and 11 with the first and second channels respectively, and fifth and sixth channels which are L-shaped, connecting ports 12 and 13 to a further pair of ports 16 and 17, Fig. 2, formed on one of the two side faces of the block. The spacing between ports 16, 17 is the same as that between ports 2, 3. A number of the blocks may be secured together, end to end, using threaded fixing holes 5-8. An end-to-end bore 9 may be provided to accommodate electrical leads. Tapped fixing holes 14 and/or through bores 19-22 may be used to secure the valves to the block or blocks. Ports 16 and 17 may be threaded.
